Day 3 - Crazy Dreams Last Night!

Wow...so it's day 3 right now and last night (after eating dinner...then a few hours later a soft pretzel with cheese, nachos and a drumstick) I went to bed earlier than normal again. I woke up on two different occassions - and if I didn't know any better I was hallucinating or something like the sort. It was crazy - I was all over the bed, sweating profusely, and went right back to sleep after waking myself up.

The alarm goes off at 6:30 a.m. - normally it's still going off at 7:00 a.m. and I don't get out of bed until the wife kicks me in the junk. Nevertheless, this morning - 6:30 a.m. came, alarm went off, I popped right out of bed and into the shower. I felt great this morning! I didn't hack anything up in the shower or while brushing my teeth! I can really tell a difference today that I'm no longer smoking.

So after I got all ready for work, I went in to kiss my wife and tell her to have a good day (the normal routine) - I don't go in and tell the kids goodbye because they just stand in their cribs and scream if I go in there and don't get them out. I went into the home office/guest bedroom, which is where I keep all of my "stuff" for work - padfolio, keys, flash drive, etc. - and my wife had put together a "survival kit" for me with mints, gum, cracker jacks, granola bars, stop smoking books/guides...and even packed a lunch for me today! Damn she's good! :) I'm so thankful to have her in my life. Not only is she a great wife and an awesome mother...she's such a great friend and "fan" of mine. She's always rooting for me regardless of what the situation is. Thank you, honey! :)

Well - I guess I'll get cracking on this thing called "work"!

I'm sure I'll be talking to you soon! Don't forget to check out my newest reading below!
