I'm glad my wife packed me a good lunch today! I just scarfed it all down - two bratwursts and a bag of cracker jacks! Nothing like some great comfort food when you're kicking the habit...not to mention it's kind of a gloomy, cool day here in Tulsa.
Well - today's going good. This morning I was pretty fidgety and all over the place, but I think I've found my zone for now and we're doing good. Lunch helped out tremendously - now I'm going to get to work here...lot's to do at the office today!

Keep up the good work honey! We are cheering you on!
ReplyDeleteYou don't know me, but I am in the TMOM group with Darla! My uncle died from mouth and throat cancer due to smoking. He had major surgery done- lost his voice box and had to have a tracheotomy... could never really eat again. In spite of it all, he kept on smoking by "plugging" the hole in his throat so he could take a puff.... I watched a horrible addiction take the life of one of my favorite people! He was only 45 when he died! KUDOS to you for quitting! I am so proud of the decision you have made... and you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!!
